I want to get an artifact for my character, but how can I know I can wear it before activation?
At the time you turn in the unactivated artifact to the Scholar, they will notify you if your class either cannot use, or cannot use all of the artifacts power. They then (depending upon the situation) will either give you the choice to proceed anyway, or refuse to activate it for you.
